TaxWiseCounse values transparency and fairness in all client engagements. This Service Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which clients may cancel services and the corresponding refund eligibility.
Our professional services involve time-based consulting, document preparation, and regulatory submissions. Therefore, fees may not always be refundable once work has commenced.
Clients may cancel a service engagement by providing written notice to info@TaxWiseCounsel.com. The following conditions apply:
Before work begins: A full refund may be issued, less any administrative or processing fees.
After work has started: Partial refunds may be considered, depending on the amount of work completed and resources allocated.
After completion of service or submission to authorities: No refunds will be issued.
Cancellations are effective only upon written acknowledgment from TaxWiseCounse.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any service under exceptional circumstances such as:
Non-payment or incomplete information provided by the client
Inability to proceed due to regulatory restrictions or non-cooperation
Situations where proceeding would breach professional or ethical obligations
In such cases, clients will be informed promptly, and refunds will be handled fairly based on work completed to date.
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days after written confirmation. Refunds are made using the same payment method originally used, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All banking or transaction fees incurred during refund processing are borne by the client, unless the cancellation was initiated by TaxWiseCounse.
Certain fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including:
Government filing fees and statutory charges
Third-party administrative or courier costs
Completed advisory consultations or document reviews
If a client wishes to modify or postpone a service rather than cancel it, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such changes without additional cost, provided reasonable notice is given and the scope remains the same.
TaxWiseCounse shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, system failures, or public emergencies. In such cases, we will work with the client to find a fair and practical resolution.
